Affiliate Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must have a registered Stroude Research account to participate. You must be 21 years of age or older. Stroude Research reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

2. Affiliate Code & Referral Links

Upon approval, you will receive a unique affiliate code and referral link. Your code provides customers with a discount on their order. You earn a commission on the commissionable amount (order subtotal after discount, excluding shipping and taxes). Your commission rate and cookie window are determined by your current tier (see Section 3).

3. Affiliate Tiers

• Silver (starting tier): 15% commission and a 14-day cookie window. Every approved affiliate begins on Silver.
• Gold: 20% commission and a 30-day cookie window. Reached by admin assignment, or automatically after at least $3,000 in qualifying referred revenue for two consecutive completed calendar months.
• Platinum: 25% commission and a 90-day cookie window. Reached automatically after at least $7,000 in qualifying referred revenue for two consecutive completed calendar months.
• Qualifying revenue is net referred revenue: collected product revenue attributed to your code, excluding taxes and shipping, minus discounts, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, credits, and ineligible orders (including self-referrals).
• Tier changes apply prospectively (effective the first day of the following month). Orders already earned keep the commission rate in effect when they were placed; historical commissions are not re-rated.
• Tiers may be adjusted downward if qualifying revenue falls below your tier threshold for two consecutive completed months, unless your tier was set manually by Stroude Research.

4. Disclosure of Your Relationship

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Stroude Research wherever you promote our products, in accordance with applicable advertising and endorsement rules. Your disclosure must cover any commissions you earn, your affiliate links and discount codes, any free or discounted research samples or product credits you receive, and any other financial or material relationship with Stroude Research.

5. Research-Use-Only Promotion

• All Stroude Research products are for laboratory research use only — not for human or animal consumption, and not for personal use.
• You must not make or imply dosing, administration, safety, efficacy, therapeutic, disease treatment/prevention/cure, weight-loss, anti-aging, bodybuilding, performance, clinical-outcome, or before/after claims.
• You must not state or imply FDA approval or authorization for human or animal use.
• You must not present personal-use testimonials or otherwise encourage non-research use.

6. Research-Sample Credits

Approved research-sample credits (where offered, e.g. to Platinum affiliates) are provided solely for legitimate research use, are subject to eligibility, availability, geographic restrictions, quantity limits, and compliance approval, and may be withdrawn at any time. Samples and product credits are not for personal use and are never provided in exchange for positive claims, reviews, or endorsements. You must disclose any samples or credits received.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using your own affiliate code or referral link on orders you place, or placing orders through accounts you control to generate commissions
• Promoting Stroude Research through spam, unsolicited emails, or misleading advertising
• Making false or unsubstantiated claims about Stroude Research products
• Bidding on Stroude Research branded keywords in paid search advertising
• Promoting on platforms that violate the platform's terms of service
• Misrepresenting your relationship with Stroude Research

8. Commission & Payouts

• Commissions are held until the associated order is marked as completed by Stroude Research, and become withdrawable only after the order has been completed for at least 10 full days
• A minimum withdrawable balance of $25.00 is required before a payout can be requested
• Payouts are processed manually upon request via Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp
• Stroude Research reserves the right to delay payouts for review purposes
• Commissions on orders that are refunded, cancelled, or charged back will be voided
• Any commissions already paid out on orders that are subsequently charged back may be deducted from future payouts

9. Commission Clawback

If an order for which commission was paid is subsequently refunded, cancelled, or results in a chargeback, Stroude Research reserves the right to deduct the corresponding commission from your future payouts or request repayment of the commission already paid.

10. Suspension & Termination

Stroude Research may flag, suspend, or terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or our research-use-only requirements. A suspension deactivates your discount code and pauses new commissions; you may be reinstated at our discretion. Upon termination, any unpaid commissions on completed, non-disputed orders will be paid out subject to the minimum payout threshold. Commissions on pending or incomplete orders will be forfeited.

11. Modifications

Stroude Research reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimer

Stroude Research products are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. You must not promote products in a way that implies, encourages, or facilitates human consumption or non-research use. Violation of this clause will result in immediate termination.
